Well here we are "on the road again" and it feels so good!! First stop was Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis, MS for an overnight stop.
Next stop Destin, Florida. Our son Eric and family will join us for a fun filled week on the beautiful white sand beaches and emerald waters of Destin.

Today we left Florida and traveled through 4 states (Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee) for an overnight stop in Knoxville, TN. Next stop, Twin Falls State Park in Mullens, West Virginia.
June 9
On our way to West Virginia, we made a quick stop in Hungry Mother State Park. Larry and I have been here before, but I was here with my Mom, brother, Aunt Linie and Uncle Marcel when I was a young child about 5 or 6. Still have memories of that trip!

Today's travels have us heading due north to Independence, Ohio.

Today we are headed out to Cuyahoga Valley NP. This valley was founded on locks, spillways, an aqueduct and other canal features that provide clues to a brief but important period in America's transportation history.
